Hey everyone, I'm five months old!

I turned 5 months old on Monday! I celebrated by going out with Nan G for devonshire tea and making lots of new friends (I tried to eat a stranger's fingers!). Things have been pretty quiet, but I wore my cool dungarees for the first time this week (the ones Auntie Neanie gave me). I've also been out for breakfast with Nan T (see pics) and I had fun with Grace and Lucy on the weekend, they don't even mind when I cry! I love my tummy time these days, and I rolled onto my side the other day! I still need help to go all the way over! I'm nearly sitting by myself (for a few moments) - Mummy needs to hold her hands near me for when I topple over! Mum and Dad have found out that I sometimes giggle when I get a raspberry on the tummy at change time - I don't do it all the time, they need to work for it! One thing I like this week is watching the water running out of the tap - it's even more interesting than smiling at the girl in the mirror.

I like you, Nan!

What do you mean Hobbes is missing at the zoo?! Can we start the crossword soon?

So Mum, what are we up to today? How about a walk in the pram?

You know, I'm nearly too big for this!!

There's nothing like a full tummy

Maybe this headband will hold my ear in! Grace is holding me, and I'm eating Lucy's hand!

Popcorn Pascal!

I went to my first movie this week! It was "Get Smart", and Mum thought it was pretty cheesy, but the bits I saw were fun! I slept through a fair bit of it, but then decided to splat some of my morning tea on Mum's leg! Luckily I missed Quincy's head!
Mum is telling people that I'm making new noises every day - I like to spring them on her in the car - sometimes she stops to check on me!

The latest exercise craze - Pascal-ates!

I haven't really discovered my thumb yet, but these fingers taste good!

Snow on the Mountain

Last weekend there was lots of snow on the mountain, and it was really cold for the first time in my life. I saw frost on the ground when we went out early to have breakfast with Nan T. We went out shopping and saw Grace and Uncle Matt, who parked right near us! On Saturday, Nan G gave me a little jacket that my Mum wore when she was a baby, and I saw my Uncle Glen, and watched football with him (I love the footy!). I've been practising my tummy time, and I can't roll over yet, but I can wriggle around in an arc, slowly! Sitting up with Mum's help is going well too, so well that we both got a big surprise on Monday when I stood up instead! We went for a big walk on Wednesday, to look at the mountain, but most of the snow had melted!

Watching the footy

The mountain - there's still a little snow at the top!

I love being rugged up in the pram.

Errol loves it when I tickle his feet!

Why can't I get anything out of these?

A lovely relaxing week...

Mum, Dad and I had a nice relaxing week this week. Auntie Leah came over for lunch last Wednesday, and we went for just a little walk because it was windy and rainy. On Friday I got a big suprise when I saw two of Nan G in the bathroom! I was smiling at her, and I turned around, and there she was again! Then I got a bigger surprise when Mum took me to have more vaccinations - ouch! On Saturday, Nan T fed me some of my breakfast, then Mum and Dad took me to look for couches that I can make a mess on! They arrived yesterday, but I've so far resisted mess-making! On Monday I made lots of new friends in the supermarket, and learnt some Japanese, and on Tuesday, I learnt some German with my Mum's Group pals! Yesterday, Mum took me for a walk in the rain. She got a bit soggy, but I stayed nice and dry under my storm cover! I've been doing sit-ups (with help from Mum or Dad) and trying to roll over from my tummy to my back, but I'm still little, and need to practise more before I can do those by myself! This week my favourite songs are "Old MacDonald had a Farm" and "Don't Stop me Now" by Queen.

Auntie Leah is fun!

Yaaaah!

That was a funny joke, Nan!

Check out my big ear!

I WILL put my whole hand in my mouth, I will!

Walks with Dad are great, especially when they're "carries".
