It's been another big few weeks for little old me! I'm so experienced at sitting up all by myself, that Mummy's finally taken those cushions out from behind me! It was a huge weekend the other weekend, because we had Natalie, Zoran and Erica in Hobart, as well as Claire, Mick and Jamie - we did lots of eating out! On Friday the 14th November, I sat myself up for the very first time, while I was at Nan G's, but then I left it a few days before doing it again!

The first step to mobility, of course, was sitting up all by myself without falling over!

Dad taught me this trick.........

I roll myself over in bed all the time now - this was really comfy, believe it or not!

We had great fun with Erica at Salamanca Market. We finished the morning by watching the Pipe Band.

This was Mummy's jacket. Nanny G's Auntie Dencel made it for her when she was a baby!

My first yoga posture!
But yoga is so tiring....
Maybe I'll just read a book!
I am so nearly crawling, btw...................I can do it all, but now I need to string a few paces together! I bumped my head yesterday, but then I amazed Mum and Dad by pulling myself up to stand using Mummy's knee while she was trying to comfort me!

Look at my teeth!!!!
It was all back to normal once our visitors left, so I had to find a new look to keep Mummy and Daddy interested.........I'm not sure they liked it, so I experimented with some new sounds, too! I can do "da-da" and "tha" as well as my "ma-ma"s and "ba-ba-ba"s.
Say Aaaahhhhh!
I sleep in my Grobag now, because Mummy said I moved around too much in my cot when I woke up (I think she likes sleeping in, personally).Swimming is coming along...........well, swimmingly! I can kick my legs, and love going underwater, and leaping off the side of the pool (I do need lots of help with the leaping bit!)
I can sit up all by myself now, but Mummy and Daddy always think I'm going to fall over, and put cushions behind me - they're good for when I get tired though.

I play pretty hard sometimes, you see.

And sometimes, I prefer to stand than sit.......only for a little while though!

Last weekend, Mum and Dad took me to a play park, and I had my first swing (excellent fun), and my first slide (a bit hairier, but fun too!).

I've had lots of new foods in the last couple of weeks - chicken and beef (not so keen, they feel weird), lentils, butter beans, and egg yolk! Yum! I'm also getting better at drinking from my sippy-cup, but it's also a pretty good toy!
